THCO, also known as Delta-8-THCO-acetate, is a semi-synthetic cannabinoid that's made from hemp-derived delta-8 THC. Essentially, professionals will take hemp and extract CBD from it. Then, they extract delta-8 from the CBD and combine the delta-8 with a chemical compound called acetic anhydride. This reaction creates the THCO cannabinoid.

The effects of THC-O-acetate cartridges depend on the cartridge, its terpene content, and the strain. However, in general, many people report that THC-O makes them feel giggly, extra euphoric, and energized.
