The Directorate for Environmental Health within the Public Health Superintendence has issued a warning to the public not to smoke a certain type of electronic cigarette as it contains excessive liquid nicotine.
This is manufactured by Aupo 2000 Puffs ad is of five millimetres.
The authorities are warning that use of this product may lead to the accidental inhaling of high doses of nicotine.
They added that nicotine is highly toxic and may involve danger to users if inhaled or coming into contact with skin.
In addition the accompanying instructions include no mention on the nicotine dose concentration and thus users are unaware of the actual content.
